Day 32- Saturday, December 12, 2015

Today it got up to 77 degrees. In Florida. With winter two weeks away.

It was warm outside.  I was able to get some steel trash taken to the recycle place and made $2 off the steel.  Better yet, I didn't have to pay $18 to have it shipped to a landfill.  Strange how that works, really.

The best part of today was being able to go out to the downtown Christmas Parade in Pcola with my sister and brother after having a 20 minute heartfelt conversation on the phone with my sister. It was kind of a reality check for me, and realizing how depression and sickness can suck the life out of people.  It was great to see her out--I didn't 'make' her go but was glad when she changed her mind and decided to head out with us.  I hope our communication lines have been changed for the better and that our relationship, and her health continues to improve. She doesn't see it, but in the past month since she's had her pacemaker put in, Jen and I continue to see improvements.  She put two hours in on the recumbent at the house today. She wouldn't have done that two months ago.
