Day 42-Tuesday December 22, 2015

I was driving to work this morning and left early because wifey was off. The skies were gray and I saw the blue light emanating from the the north as the clouds gave way a little bit.  I wanted to shoot the photo of me in the red raincoat on a gray background thinking it'd stand out but my usual place wouldn't have shown the clearing and the blue in the sky starting to appear.  Instead I chose to shoot at the Dickerson City Boat Ramp.  All I had was my mom's Nikon D800 (which I don't like at all) for digital, and Dad's old fuji ST705W SLR.  I decided to use both.  On timers. In damp fog on the bay, with the occasional lightning in the background.  I set the timer on the digital camera to take the shot.  not real sure I liked the blurryness as it's an autofocus, but it didn't turn out that bad. Had to figure out the timer on the Fujica, which I more than likely wasted a shot on.  Anyway, the pic in focus is decent, but I liked the blurry one better for some reason.  At least I'm off now for about 5 days and hope to get the polaroid out again and maybe burn thru the rest of the film on the Fujica to see how they all turned out.
