One of my resolutions is to get up and get more things done if I wake up early in the morning. Today, since I was up at 5:45, I decided to get some nice photos at the beach using my Land Camera, my Digital with two wide angles, and 2 of my 35mm's.
It wasn't the best sunrise, but coupled with the 20 mph winds from the north and 43 degree weather on an open beach, it made it somewhat miserable. I was the only person out on the beach, obviously so I was able to get some decent shots. I really hope the ones i took with my zoom and my Fujica turned out. I worried about sand in the components with the wind, but luckily there were raised garbage cans to place my gear. Kinda hard to do when unprepared but got off some nice shots. The only bummer was, after cleaning the rollers on the Landcam at Otis' house, it left a film, which basically ruined a whole pack of unused Fuji 100C film. Needless to say, I was pretty bummed about that.
I started shooting my 24mm wide angle for the first shot, then went to the old reliable Tokina 11-16. I am really starting to love this lens!
