Day 109 - Sunday February 28, 2016

Day 109, Sunday,February 28, 2016
Our Sunday walks/hike took place for the second week in a row.  Today we were planning on walking the Garcon Point Birding trail with Amber and Joe, but it is a marshland, and with recent rains and tornadoes, it didn't take long for us to realize that this was going to be a wet trail.  We decided after about a tenth of a mile to turn it around and find another place to hike.  We decided to keep in in Garcon point and walk the coastline from the bridge to wherever we could go on the coast.  Ended up being about 1.1 miles getting to the point where we couldn't cross the inlet.  Decent walk/hike, but i was expecting more.  Next week, we'll probably get back to the NLO northside, with a trip toward reservation Rd.

Afterward, we met up with our buddies at their house to learn about beer brewing.  Learned a lot today about that. Cool stuff, and an undefeated cornhole run, followed by getting our asses kicked at Amber and Joes losing 6 of 7 cornhole games.   ugh.  Beautiful day that I was happy to take advantage of.
