Day 90 - Monday February 8, 2016

Day 90-Monday, February 8, 2016

Today I spent most of the morning recovering from the obvious too much food and drink from what turned out to be a lame Super Bowl 50.  Also, yesterday, Jen and I received our new Garmin Vivofit wrist band wearable tech.  Keeps track of steps and stuff, but mine has a heart monitor with it and I hope to see how it all works out. I also joined a few sites on the web linked to Garmin that counts caloric intake for me.  I actually set a goal to get down from 200 to 185 in the next few months.  I plan on walking a LOT more, and when the weather warms up a little bit, getting back on the bike. Shoulder issues need to be taken care of first though, as I've been popping ibuprofen for the last three days.

In order to get my 7500 steps for the day, I decided to go for a walk with the dog and Jen this afternoon.  I'm still 1300 steps away so i guess i'll have to get moving a little more in the future as I'm not sure whether I'll get my goal today or not!

The good thing is, on the walk, I brought the camera and was able to keep up with my 'dead tree' fascination.

For lunch I had the pleasure of meeting up with one of my old working buds from Escambia, Mary.  We caught up on a lot of stuff, and ate some great food at the Pork and Spoon.  Really like this place!
