Day 113 and 114 Thursday March 3, and Friday March 4, 2016
Day 113
Now that the polaroid Land Camera is basically defunct ( I only have three pics left on my last Fuji 100c Pack of film) I decided to print the stumps on the printer to see how well it did. I was very happy with the results. I did notice some blues had a little bit of a purple hue to them but was very satisfied with my new purchase. Good bye Fuji.
Day 114- Friday March 4, 2016
Got back into Geocaching today. With all this hiking, may as well find something to do while getting all my steps. Last night, I decided to check a place up the street where I was never able to find the cache previously, and was interrupted by two bums. The first was hanging out at the tables, and quickly left the area. The second appeared from behind the dumpster riding a beach cruiser, rode up to me and asked candidly if I smoked pot. What? I guess because I'm hanging out in the woods looking for tiny treasure so I can get a smiley, I appear to be a pot smoker. Needless to say, I left the area not long after that. Tried again today to find it, but the same dude was just lying in the parking lot-guess he was getting some sun. I'll get it someday, but this easy cache find appears to elude me, again.
What I did find, however was a really cool relaxation spot that I never knew existed. That's what I love about geocaches--you learn about interesting places, right in your own back yard that you never even knew existed! Gotta get the kids back in to this, but none of this driving to them stuff. I really wanna go on some walks to find them.
Here is the marsh preserve spot where the cache was hiding out.
