Day 122 - Saturday March 12, 2016
Day 122 - Saturday, March 12, 2016
Today was a recovery day from a late concert. It didn't take long to get started however--Avery had a babysitting gig for some friends while the McGuires run occurred this morning. At their beckon call, I picked them up for a ride home afterward. After seeing one of my friends on the ground yakking, Jen and I decided to take both vehicles home, putting the yakker in their car. Ha. Easy day, and a feeling of altruism to get them home safely. While babysitting I was able to shoot some lacrosse pics at the field as our other friends had a game. Used the 100mm today for all shots.
Was thinking about using a single lens for a month to get used to using it. I read about that in the Photographic composition book I recently bought, and it stated to get used to how lenses function, use the same one for a year. Might be a nice monthly project for the next few months on this blog. I'll probably try to utilize the same lens as much as possible, but maybe for a week or month or so. We shall see.
Although I enjoyed taking pics of lacrosse today, I found this moment with the kids hanging out in the neighborhood with their buddies and grabbed a shot from the dining room window.
