Day 127 - Thursday March 17, 2016 100mm Day 5
Day 127- Thursday March 17, 2016 (St Patrick's Day)
We tried to get out to the beach for the annual St Paddy's Day party at Paddy O' Learys, but the more I thought about it the less I wanted to go--had my sister been feeling good, we'd have definitely went there.
Spend the afternoon cleaning the crap out of the grill, to include punching out every gas hole that was clogged with a tiny wire (fun). We had a break in the weather to attempt the beach run, but alas, the clouds covered up any type cool sunset we would have seen there. Instead, we bought Defend the Shaka coozies and a good six-pack, having one on the deck of the Shaka Bar where no one was. I hoped for a good photo of a sunset, but didn't get it. There was a cat and a blue covered cloudy sky so I took a couple of pics of what I could. We stayed on the beach about an hour, then retreated to our new favorite place, the back porch and waited on the thunderstorm, which came with a vengeance. i really need to work on hand steadiness when i shoot this 100mm. Guess that's the challenge, huh.
