Day 139 - Tuesday March 29 thru Day 144 Sunday April 3rd

Day 139 Tue 3/29- Day 144 Sun 4/3/16

So..I decided to start using the lens that best works for the situation i'm in.  Sorry 100mm.  I love you but can't use you for certain shots. I miss too much.  Busy weekend, and week for that matter.

Tuesday 3/29 I took they day off.  Just wasn't overly in the mood to shoot anything.  These days are allowed, right?

Wednesday 3/30 /16
Remember the problem with raccoons?  Tonight we had three, yes three in our courtyard.  They don't fall gracefully, when they hang out on your spouting and you hit them with a towel-just saying :)  I hit them twice. They kind of bounce off things like tables and window ledges.  Dumb rodents.  Still couldn't get them out of the courtyard with the door closed, so I shot them with a huge spray of water.  They haven't come back since. I'm sure there will be updates on this.

Thursday March 31, 2016

Was able to get an early start to the morning commute and had to stop and take some pics of the abandoned house again. Although these were rushed, I had to get a shot of the azaleas on this abandoned property.

#30daysofbiking yet again this year. I love to ride my bike.  This year I plan on riding 30 days, again everyday in april at least a mile, but on the tandem with wifey.

Day one was a rainout, but we rode between the drops when there was a clearing. I was able to have my daughter get an action shot of us as we rounded the homeward bend.  Let it commence!

Saturday April 2, 2016

Today Jen and I seized an opportunity to check out the west side trails while GT attended a party at Bronson Field and got to play paintball with friends for three hours. Since my longtime friend turned 40 today and was having a party, Jen and I decided to go to Foley first, to get his gag gift. Yes, a black penis extender was the ticket, along with a tube of nuts extender to make him last longer in the sack. We thought it was pretty damn funny.   Anyway, after than we were able to get back to Tarklin bayou for what ended up being a quick trip.  With the soaking rains, the walking trail was too wet for the tandem skinny tires, so we did the boardwalk path.  A mere 1.2 miles to the bayou, but a great place to get some good shots.  I brought both the 10-18 and the 100mm so I've added some shots of both.

#30daysofbiking Day 2. A quick trip on the bayou.

knockerball craziness

madness.  I'm still sore
Sunday April 3, 2016
Still sore from the party yesterday.  Got jarred pretty good, but I'd be sure to do it again. The videos were very funny, and I'm always happy to lay out gals and guys that are half my size and weight.

Today we got a lot done around the house and yard (as we weren't up to doing too much else due to soreness)
Jen got some painting done, and I got some grass cut and needless weeds pulled. We were also able to ride to starbucks with our neighbor and some kids down the street that are friends of our kids.  Perfectfully beautiful day. Just perfect.  Spent almost all of it outside.
