Day 148- Thursday April 7, 2016

I was asked by our PIO to be a backup photographer at the awards ceremony tonight.  I brought my camera and flash.  I only took a couple of pics, as most were taken by the PIO, and I didn't feel like taking pics.  Here is a practice shot of the Sheriff, in his final year, using a 50mm in low light with a little extra flash. Unfortunately, I didn't win anything but this was the year that Sylvia and Hayley, whom I deal with directly won employee of the year in their respective positions.  Couldn't be more happy for them.

Day 149 - Friday April 8, 2016

Rich got the camera from me and started shooting with my 50mm.  Here is my selfie at work for the month, taken by Rich.

 Then we rode that evening, with nothing planned but sitting on the porch and enjoying the weather with a nice robust six pack.  The ride was nice, but short--caught a setting sun, then to the porch.
