Day 151 - Sunday April 10, 2016
After a great night's sleep at the campground, we patiently waited for Avery to arrive to pack our gear and get us home. While we waited and packed our gear, I was able to walk with Jen to the campground store for some coffee, and saw a very cool oak tree canopy behind one of the campsites--bonus- an Osprey nest high above. I went back with GT climbing the trees and grabbed the 100mm. Got some great pics of him and decent ones of the Ospreys in the nest. When Avery arrived, we loaded our stuff in the Equinox, drove to the campground store and spent some quality, albeit windy time on the beach. Beautiful finish to an excellent trip with all my number ones.
All pics taken with the 100mm lens with exception of wide angle first shot.
I really recognized the serious macro power of the 100mm today photoing the rusty coke can up close, and seashells that where about as big as fingernails. i can put this lens to some serious up close use,in the right light of course.
