Day 159 - Monday April 18, 2016
Day 159 -- Monday April 18, 2016
Busy day at work. After that, it was time to meet Rusty out at the beach for a photo shoot with Avery at 4:30 PM. We were a little late, but confirmed that with our shooter.
Today, after spending time at the beach on Saturday, we came to the conclusion that we'd shoot Avery at the Fort. For Model portfolio photos. Perfect day, but got windy near the end. Sometimes I forget that when you're doing a model shoot, it's about the subject, not necessarily the surroundings or any flashy jewelry, or scenery--nothing to take away from the subject. I gave some ideas then realized that I was taking away from the essence and subject matter of the shoot. I'm getting it, just need to focus. We dropped off Avery at the fort then hopped on the tandem to kill an hour. On Fort Pickens, under very bright hard light. Got some pretty cool shots. I'm really starting to make this 100mm my go to lens and figuring out the best ways to shoot it, so....first--the proof that Day 18 was a nice ride.
