Day 173 - Monday May 2, 2016
The weekend activities wore me out so I slept nine hours, not a peep out of me all night.
Busy day at work. I find it funny how people who are my friends don't know thing like local zip codes and my address after knowing me for 20 years. Not real sure how that happens. I guess it goes with trying to act 25 years old again to join some stupid indian club and be known socially with the high-brow folk. I've been over that crap for years, yet it seems I have to re-live it every year with someone else. No Thanks on these invites I'm getting, but Jen is helping me accept it. Ugh.
Late walk with Abby and Jen tonight around the hood. I had a shot of the cactus blooms down the street and the local lantana that is growing everywhere it seems. A couple close up shots without the lens hood tonight was all I could muster.
Tiffany yesterday showed me the differences shooting in RAW format compared to jpegs. What a difference when it comes to editing how awesome albeit huge those pics are. I have a lot to learn in the coming weeks and months, but I think I'm going to choose to use Lightroom. I also installed an older version on the XP non-internet machine in the bedroom that is made for photo editing. Hope it all works out
