Day 177 - Friday May 6, 2016

The beauty of the month of May in Florida is you never know what you're gonna get weather-wise.  A cold front blew through the area on Wednesday allowing us to turn off our A/C again for at least 5 days at temps drop to the low 60's high 50's at night.

This also makes for perfect bike riding and back porch weather.  Not many nights do we spend time watching any type television during this month either.  There is always too much to do, or music to listen to on the porch, or hang out with neighbors--not to mention, an easy way to save money by not going out (which I haven't been wanting to do anyway).  Just time on the porch with wifey and the kiddos--no tablets or PC's in hand, just sit, listen to music, sometime cozy up with a nice blanket and enjoy the fleeting moment before it all goes south.  And by south I mean the HUMIDITY and bugs, etc.  This might be my favorite time of year.

Tonight Jen and I got away for about an hour and a half on a long #hoodride through an older neighborhood, similar to the beauty of Whisper Bay, but on the bluffs and the water.  it was an awesome 14 mile ride, just a coaster, with sights to behold.  Strangely enought we found one of those never-developed subdivisions and noticed this gazebo on a plot of vacant land, that appeared to have a for sale post on it.
