Day 193 - Sunday May 22, 2016

Day 193 - Sunday May 22, 2016

Today was a beautiful day, once again.  In the mid 70's at bike ride time at 9 am.  Today was another installment of hood-rides, and we knocked out the HUGE subdivision of Villa Venyce and the very small and connected Tiger Trace.

On the ride, a friend told me about an area that goes over wetlands to the sound.  I guess the road was abandoned after the hurricanes, or the bridge just leads to nowhere, but Jen and I parked our bikes and walked out as far as we wanted.  We didn't make it to the sound, but did find a cool pic stop to utilize the Nikon.

When we got home from the bike ride, Jen decided to clean some clutter.  To my amazement, she found our first Digital Camera.  A Canon Powershot G1 that I bought with money I was making working a second job at circuit city.  It was very dusty, but when i plugged it in, she came to life.  I ordered 3 batteries and a charger for her on Amazon for $18.  I now have a way cooler vintage Digital camera for adventures that is way cooler (although a little bulkier) than that nikon.  I hope it works out and still has good bones!.
Needless to say, we pulled the card out of it and realized we had pics from 2007, 2008, and 2009 on there.  The kiddos were just babies!  (sniff)

We took Amber for the virgin ride in Ivanka to the beach again today. Another perfect beach day and the kids played in the perfect water as we listened to music on the beach and read 1001 places to see before you die.  I need to get my act together and get some campgrounds logged for the epic trip to New England we'll be taking in a little more than 6 weeks!
