Day 211 - Wednesday June 8, 2016
I spent a lot of time working on our trip itinerary that is less than three weeks away. Needless to say, it wasn't a day for pics, but in retrospect, here is one of my favorite photos from our Michigan trip last year.
Day 211- Thurday June 9, 2016
Today was a beautiful day on the water. First of all, I received a pic of GT's catch as they went fishing in the gulf. My boy made all of us proud by landing a 40 pound Cobia. YES..I see caper sauce Cobia grilled tomorrow night!
Yeah, it was hot, but after mowing the lawn out back and cooling off inside, we decided we wanted to do a sunset paddle behind our house. The water was as glassy as glass could be. Tonight I brought the Nikon with me in the waterproof case and was able to get some amazing sunset pics. I really wanted to go to the Garcon Point bridge for some funky angles, but my favorite pics were not of us on the boards, but the calmness of the bay. I accomplished that using the Nikon with the battery only at 20%.
