Been listening to Elizabeth Cook's new one lately. Found out this morning she was playing Vinyl Music Hall in town for $15. Win. Jen and I went. Met up with Rachel at HopJacks (of course) pre show and then watched Cook and her band play for about an hour. Only an hour. No encore, but considering the 100 or so people at the venue were doing nothing but talking and drinking, I kinda get it. People, listen--if you are at a show, please respect the artist enough to listen to the music. If you wanna drink and talk, take it to the back, or at least a different place. Thank you.
I couldn't get her to exchange shirts with me though---I had to ask after the show was over :). It was a good show, not the best, nor the worst I'd ever seen. Good times.
