Day 264 - Wednesday August 3, 2016

A heat lightning storm in the distance lasted about three hours.  I had plenty of time to set up to try and catch the lightning. I'm still working on perfecting my technique.  I liked some of the results, but forgot that these aren't stars, they are lightning, so it really wasn't necessary to shoot wide open.  A majority of the shots were grainy and overexposed from the lightning.  Made a note to self to shoot around 5.6 - 8 to keep the glares and flares down. Here was the best I shot tonight.  Liked the green ghosty flares too from the low clouds.
