Day 307
My creative juices have been flowing the past few days. Jen and I were going to get more steps in with an early arrival to pick up GT from practice tonight. I voiced my concerns with my buddy Mark about the kids not getting out until 8pm when the coaches promised 7:30. When my kid gets home at 8:20 PM and it still takes him and hour to wind down, get clean and eat dinner? I have a problem with that. Anyway, they had practice over by about 7:25 and the speeches always take about 15 minutes. Jen and I left with original plans of a walk, but the sky was brilliant on the way there so we decided instead to stop at the NLO North and do our walking there, while I shot a couple of sunset pics.
Unfortunately we lost the sunset, and the cloud reflection wasn't as dramatic, but I took a few anyway. This wasn't working for me, so I decided to take a pic of my birks, which were waiting for me to come back to them. A little sand inside, a little editing with NIK and I got a pretty nice pic for the day.
I've also liked getting on 500px lately. because it seems to be more about photography, than the everyday bullshit I'm starting to see on IG. Instagram is still my fave but the ads and 'your friend on facebook' is this person is getting a little bit on my nerves. Hell, FB is getting a LOT on my nerves, and I'm thinking about deactivating it again. Baby Steps.
