Day 356 - Thursday November 3, 2016 (no pics)
Day 356
Less than ten days and I will have been blogging about my pics for a year, I know it can be more of a daily life type blog, but I'm really enjoying myself and hopefully my pics have improved over the course of this time!
Since I was able to get things done early working from home, I decided to take the final two hours off and go work on the pathway to the shed from the newly poured 'manpuzzle' slab. I was up super late watching the Chicago Cubs win it all, too! Nice 108 year curse broken. Way to go Cubbies. The walkway digging was much harder than expected. It was impacted sand, but we have some pretty large trees behind the house, and, I fear many of the root systems have found their way to the end of our septic line, so there was a lot of stabbing motions and cutting, and just overall moving earth and weeds before putting down the weed stop! It was a chore, and to have to do that in 85 degree heat---we'll, lets just say it took the rest of the afternoon to get some type of pathway moved--the lifting of 40lb concrete 18x18 blocks didn't help matters.
Later in the evening we went to the field to return GT's football equipment and have a final year end party at Santinos, a local pizza/sandwich joint. It was fun, and we returned to the house around 7:30--Pretty sure I fell asleep around 9 under the influence of IcyHot and Ibuprofen!
