Day 357

Thanks to the brutal workday yesterday, today's stone-laying session was somewhat easy.  I did have to remove some leftover mortar from some of the blocks so they'd sit in the sand properly, but that was about it.  I was able to get the sweeping done with the leftover Portland cement and the line looks pretty straight.  Who am I to get all upset over a walkway from the pad to the garage?

Nothing to do this weekend since son's football season is over!  So, tonight we went to Lowes to look at moveable firepits for the patio.  After looking at the wimpiest of firepits costing upwards of $65 to $225, Jen and I opted to get some pavers and build our own temporary one off the patio.  We were short by two, but will now have a much prettier, better built firepit for approximately $45!  I'll take that savings!  The result was nice too.

Photos taken from Motorola G4 cell phone, as I was too tired to get the camera.
