Sundown on the Ghost Town--Protected by haints
Sunday July 22, 2018
A test using a newly acquired Vivitar Series 1 70-210 F3.5 Minolta mount to the Fuji XT-1.
I'd been eyeing this lens for a while at the secondhand store, with its case, silica gel packets and flawless glass inside. A small lens by no means, but a way to extend the range of my Mirrorless XT-1.
We took it to two beach areas we frequent, and although finding focus was hard in the noon harsh light, I started to figure it out once the later afternoon light started to phase out.
All photos--Fuji XT-1 with adapter for Minolta Mount and Vivitar Series 1 70-210mm F3.5 Lens. Most shot at F8, F11

Attached are the pics taken from Fort Pickens during a windy golden hour: Most were at 70mm or 135mm. Maybe a couple of them at 200mm.
The macro worked wonderfully also. Took me a little bit to realize that sliding the barrel is what focuses the Macro, not turning the lens.
I really like my new $18 purchase :)
Will shoot it on the X700 next.
